Your three options
Most creators start by posting a number. It works, but it puts the effort on your fans and gives you nothing back except an SMS.
- Posting your personal number: free and simple, but fans type it by hand, can send to the wrong number, and your personal number is public.
- Posting a Till or Paybill: keeps your personal number private, but fans still type the number, and a Paybill also needs an account number.
- Sharing a tipping page: fans tap an amount and approve an M-Pesa prompt, can leave a message, and you see every supporter in one place.
Set up a Support Hustle page
Setup takes a few minutes. Your page takes tips once ZetuPay approves your details and you have tokens.
- Sign up free at hustle.zetupay.co.ke and pick your username. That becomes your link.
- Add a photo, a line about what you do, your story and up to four links.
- Add where you get paid: your M-Pesa Till, a Paybill and account number, or your bank account.
- Send your full name, ID number and phone for a quick check.
- Buy tokens with M-Pesa. Each tip uses one.
- Share your link and QR code.
What it costs
The page is free. You buy tokens upfront and each tip uses one, so no percentage comes out of what fans send. A fan who sends KES 500 puts KES 500 in your account.
Your dashboard shows the current token price before you buy.
Small things that bring in more support
- Set suggested amounts that match your fans: smaller amounts get more taps.
- Write a thank-you note. Supporters see it the moment their tip goes through.
- Say what support pays for, like studio time or data for uploads.
- Share the link often, not once.
